Terms and Conditions

We are Blue Clean LLC ("Blue Clean"), and we're thrilled you've decided to use our services, including, but not limited to, our technologies or functions offered on our website, applications, customer service team, cleaners, and third-party vendors, all of which we refer to simply as the "Services." These Terms and Conditions (which we call the "Terms") are just so you'll know the rules that govern our relationship with you.

1. Authority

By using the Services, you state that:

you will comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations; and you understand that Blue Clean is protected by relevant trademark and copyright laws. If you are using our services on behalf of a business or some other entity, you also state that you are authorized to grant all licenses set forth in these Terms and to agree to these Terms on behalf of the business or entity.

2. Customer responsibilities

Better safe than sorry!

Do you know of any hazards, slippery surfaces or other dangers that may impact the health of our cleaners? If so, please let us know before we begin the service.

We need somewhere to park.

The responsibility of parking is up to the customer. Our cleaners require parking for the entirety of your clean. If no free parking is available, either on the street or in your building, the customer will need to cover the cost of paid parking. We'll provide receipts after the clean and charge you the full amount.

Got something heavy?

Do you need us to clean behind or under a heavy item? Not a problem! We just need these items to be moved before we start the service.

Offering your own equipment?

That's nice of you! However, for the safety of our team, we kindly ask that these are to be non-caustic and non-toxic. Please also make sure that any products or equipment haven't been tampered with.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Did you change your mind? No worries. It happens to the best of us.

While we know schedules can change quickly, rescheduling or skipping a booking with short notice causes professionals to lose valuable work. Therefore, we ask you to give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid any cancellation penalties.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking at a cost of $50 if:

  • Our team could face health or safety concerns.
  • If there is no one available to let us inside at the time of service and/or there are no other means of access to the property.
  • The property has unreasonable access to parking, water and/or electricity.
  • If the property is not ready for the service, e.g. the home is excessively messy.
  • We haven't been given 24 hours cancellation/rescheduling notice.

4. Happiness Guarantee

Our Happiness Guarantee is valid for 24 hours. It guarantees that if we receive a notification from you, we'll come back to the residence to reclean any problem areas — free of charge. Our Happiness Guarantee only covers the cleaning aspects provided in our quote and checklist.

In the case that you are unhappy with the services performed, please request a reclean. We will require that you specify the exact areas that need to be addressed with photographic evidence.

There may be the rare case where no amount of cleaning will be able to fix a problem area in your home. In these instances, we forego the Happiness Guarantee for that aspect of the clean, letting you know during the initial inspection of your home or immediately after a cleaning attempt has been made.

Examples of this include, but are not limited to:

  • Permanent carpet stains
  • Permanent hard water stains
  • Permanent wall marks
  • Mold
  • Rusting
  • Grease stains

What is not eligible for a Happiness Guarantee:

  • Appointments completed more than 24 hours ago
  • Items not included on our cleaning checklist
  • Recleans
  • Homes not in standard condition (e.g. bio-hazards, hoarding, etc.)
  • Extra services (inside oven, inside refrigerator or inside cabinets)
  • Post-construction/post-renovation cleans

5. Quotes and pricing

Blue Clean agrees to provide you with the Services and you agree to pay the quoted price for the Services, unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Although we make every attempt to provide the most accurate pricing on our website, it may be necessary that we alter your quote upon inspection if:

The state of the property is not as expected, or your original requirements have changed or were incorrectly entered, or there are variations to the condition or size compared to standard room specifications.

6. Indemnity

The customer covers Blue Clean against:
All losses or liabilities that are directly or indirectly a result of our service, including all losses or liabilities resulting from of a breach of the customer's warranties.

All legal costs and other expenses in connection with a demand, action, arbitration or other proceedings. This includes mediation, compromise, out of court settlement or appeal, as well as any action taken for the recovery of a debt from the customer.

Blue Clean reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
